What is GolStats?
GolStats analyzes football matches across major leagues with the statistical goals model, combining recent team form, xG and market odds to estimate Over/Under goal probabilities.
How do I enter odds?
On the match page, type the bookmaker's decimal odds for each line (1.5, 2.5 and 3.5). Enter Over and/or Under as available. Odds must be greater than 1.00 (e.g. 1.95, 2.10).
What is calibration (market weight)?
The calibration slider sets how much the model trusts market odds versus its own statistics. 0% uses only the model; 100% fully adjusts to the market. The default (70%) balances both.
What are simulations?
The model runs thousands of simulations (500 to 10,000) to estimate uncertainty in probabilities. More simulations = higher accuracy, but the analysis takes a bit longer.
Can I use my own xG and xGA?
Yes. The analysis form has optional xG/xGA fields for home and away. If left blank, we use site statistics (last 20 games). If filled in, your values replace the database ones.
How do tokens and history work?
You get 1 free analysis on signup. After that, each analysis costs 1 token (buy packs on Pricing). Your 5 most recent analyses are saved in History, where you can review or delete them.
